Product Description

Strontium carbonate
Strontium carbonate, chemical formula SrCO3, colorless prismatic crystal or white powder. 926 °C transforms into a hexagonal crystal system. The melting point is 1497 °C (6.08×106Pa), and the relative density is 3.70. Slightly soluble in water, slightly soluble in saturated solution of carbon dioxide, soluble in Chemicalbook ammonium chloride, ammonium nitrate and carbonic acid solution. It reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and acetic acid to release carbon dioxide. 820 °C begins to decompose, 1340 °C gradually loses carbon dioxide, white hot completely decomposes into strontium oxide and carbon dioxide, gas up to 1.01×105Pa.
