This type of materials make it possible to produce the parts with good performance after heat treatment. Pre-alloyed powders are water atomized steel powders with 0.85%Mo and 1.5%Mo often used as-sintered with additions of copper or nickel to make it possible for good surface hardening etc. Press ready mixed powders are based on the atomized iron powders, reduced sponge iron powders and alloyed powders, bonded with other additives by binder.
