Protect the cylinder and enhance rigidity: the ball mill lining can effectively prevent the cylinder and rotating parts from
direct contact with the grinding media and materials to reduce wear and corrosion, extend service life, and reduce maintenance and replacement costs. In addition, the lining plate and the cylinder are closely combined, which enhances the rigidity of the cylinder and improves the performance of the ball mill.

Adjust the movement state of the grinding media: the lining plate enables the energy obtained by the grinding media to be rationally utilized during the operation of the ball mill. We can use lining plates of different shapes to adjust the movement state of the grinding media to enhance the grinding effect, thereby improving the grinding efficiency of the ball mill, increasing output, and reducing metal consumption.

Automatic grading of grinding media: the main feature of graded liners is that they have a certain slope along the axial

Cast steel lining:
the cast steel lining plate is the most widely used lining plate in ball mills. It has the advantages of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, etc., and is suitable for grinding various ores and non-metallic minerals. However, it cannot be used to grind chemicals, nor is it suitable for working environments with high humidity, which is prone to rust.
Alloy steel lining:
alloy steel lining plates are made by adding alloy elements to cast steel lining plates, thereby improving the hardness and wear resistance. It is suitable for grinding ores and minerals with higher hardness. However, its price is relatively high and it is not suitable for production occasions with low economic efficiency requirements.
High manganese steel lining:
the high manganese steel lining plate has extremely high wear resistance, impact resistance, and toughness, and is suitable for grinding ores with high hardness and large impact. Its impact resistance can be further optimized from the original surface hardness of HRC20~HRC25 to over HRC40, and the impact resistance value can reach 700Nm/cm2. The total life of a high manganese steel lining plate is about 5000-6000 hours, and it is mostly used in medium and small ball mills.
High chromium cast iron lining:
the wear resistance of high chromium cast iron lining plate is more than 2 times higher than that of high manganese steel lining plate. Besides, it also has excellent high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, but its toughness and crack resistance are worse than those of high manganese steel lining and medium and high carbon alloy lining. And the price is expensive.
